I am originally from West Virginia and God has brought me all the way to the other side of the country (the better side??). I was born in Maryland and moved around a few times with my dad being in the Navy and finally settled in West Virginia. I graduated from Antietam Bible College in 2005 with a B.A. in pastoral studies. I graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2007 with a Masters in Intercultural Studies and finished my Master of Divinity at NNU. My wife (Des) and I met just before I graduated from college and were married in 2006. Immediately after graduating seminary we began our life in full-time ministry in Prineville, OR and then found our way to Portland in 2014.
I love being in ministry and seeing people's lives transformed by the power of Christ. The love and grace of God never ceases to amaze me. One of the highlights of ministry, for me, is being a part of someone's journey with Christ. To watch as they grow closer and closer to God is a tremendous joy and privilege.
When I am not at the church or out in the community I love spending time with my wife and kids, Lydia and Wesley. They certainly know how to keep me busy and have some fun!

Children's Ministry

My family and I started attending Central in 1995. My husband, Dale, and I have been married since 1987. I have 2 boys, Nathan and Nick, and 2 girls, Noe and Nicole. I love working with children! My goal is to provide a clean, safe, fun, age-appropriate place for children to learn about Jesus. My favorite verse is Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
