Prayer
When Jesus sent His disciples ahead of Him into the cities He was about to visit one of the first things He told them to do was pray. Jesus is found constantly in prayer and getting away to pray. Pray must be the first thing we do. We can’t do anything without prayer. Prayer must be a vital part of everything we do.
We are encouraged all throughout Scripture to pray for others (even our enemies), pray for guidance, intercede for the lost, and healing for the sick. Jesus even had a habit of prayer. If we want to do the work of the Lord we have to pray.

Make Your Own Prayer List
Make a list of people you are praying for by name and pray for…
- Their needs to be met
- Their protection and blessing
- That God would send someone to share Jesus with them
- That you would get the opportunity to disciple them
- That God would draw them to Himself
What is your next step? Pray – simply pray for more workers in the harvest field. Pray for your neighbors, by name (if you don’t know their name, it might be time to get to know them).
